Are you a seasoned HR professional with a passion for shaping people strategies and driving meaningful change? Are you looking for your next challenge in 2025 where you can make a real impact? If so, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

I’m on the lookout for an experienced Human Resources Consultant to join a forward-thinking public sector organisation in Essex. This is more than just a HR role, it’s a chance to influence workforce strategy, spearhead key initiatives, and support leaders in creating a high-performing, engaged workforce.

What You'll Be Doing:

  • Partnering with People Services and the Business Partnering team to design and implement strategic HR initiatives.
  • Coaching and advising managers on change management, complex employment cases, and performance issues.
  • Analysing HR metrics to provide insights and enhance organisational effectiveness.
  • Leading impactful projects that drive continuous improvement and deliver tangible outcomes.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Chartered CIPD membership (or working towards it).
  • Extensive HR generalist experience, ideally within the public sector.
  • A strong track record of managing complex people, process, and systems challenges while driving change.
  • Expertise in change management techniques and engaging leaders in transformation.
  • Experience leading HR projects and programmes to successful outcomes.
  • Ability to analyse people and business metrics, translating insights into effective reports and policies.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence and build meaningful relationships.

Benefits:

We know that great work happens when people feel supported and valued. That’s why you will be offered a range of benefits, including:

  • Hybrid working – spend 1-2 days a week in the office, with flexibility to work remotely.
  • Family-friendly policies – flexible working arrangements to support your work-life balance.
  • Generous holiday allowance – plus special leave options and the ability to purchase extra leave.
  • Local Government Pension Scheme – providing financial security for your future.
  • So, are you the one? If you're ready to take on this challenge as Human Resources Consultant and help shape the future of People in a dynamic organisation, I’d love to hear from you. Apply today or reach out to me directly at [email protected] for a confidential chat.
