The Role
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our growing HR team based within our Head Office at Doxford International Business Park.
We are looking for a proactive and enthusiastic HR Coordinator to provide high quality HR administration, advice and support to managers and employees across the organisation. You will be required to work closely with all members of the HR team, reporting directly to the HR Business Partner to provide support on relevant HR projects and processes within a varied and fast-paced role.
Responsibilities
Duties will include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining accurate staff records in the HR system through regular updates and liaising with employees
- Ensuring queries and requests into the HR team are acknowledged and actioned in a timely manner to a high quality
- Managing all pre-employment checks including right to work checks and references
- Taking ownership of the entire onboarding process, including (but not limited to) preparing offer letters and contracts, system set up and welcome information
- Responsible for the accurate processing of all starter and leaver information including exit interviews and new starter “check-ins”
- Processing all generalist HR documentation including changes to contracts, family leave applications and flexible working requests
- Provide frontline HR advice to managers and employees in line with best practice, policy and employment legislation
- Supporting the HR team with formal cases as required including taking minutes, investigatory interviews and letter writing
- Assisting in the updating and creating of HR related policies, procedures, and forms
- Assisting with HR related projects as required
Qualifications
- Relevant HR Qualifications (preferably CIPD Level 3 or above)
- Relevant and recent experience working in a HR environment
- Working knowledge of HR issues
- Experience of using HR systems and software
- Basic understanding of employment law and (preferable) experience in providing guidance in line with this
- Proven knowledge and experience of providing HR advice and guidance
