Working nights on a rotating shift pattern, you will play a critical role in ensuring the required standards of Food Safety, Quality and Hygiene are met within the factory. You will be required to ensure cleaning is carried out effectively to agreed standards.
Requirements
- To maintain Hygiene standards in all production areas
- To dismantle all machinery and equipment to enable effective cleaning
- Use of all industrial cleaning equipment, including chemicals & high-power hoses
- Responsible for reassembly of equipment in time for start up
- To verify your own job throughout the shift on a regular basis
- To follow strict hygiene procedures and schedules at all times
- To ensure all health and safety standards are adhered to whilst completing tasks
- To participate in regular daily, monthly and periodic cleaning activities
SKILLS/ KNOWLEDGE/ EXPERIENCE:
- Ideally you will have experience within a similar environment (food manufacturing)
- You will require an understanding of Food Safety, COSHH & Health and Safety regulations within the industry
- To have an understanding of Basic Food hygiene, COSHH and Health and Safety
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn and develop
