IBA Associate - London Market

Miryco Consultants is looking for an IBA Associate to join a leading London Broker.

In this role, you will be responsible for working closely with insurers and underwriters to reconcile and manage client money.

Responsibilities:

• Review Power BI dashboards to release items for settlement.
• Ensure timely premium payments (PPWs) to insurance underwriters.
• Prioritize and escalate pending or suspected NOC activity, liaising with stakeholders for resolution.
• Deliver exceptional client service by acting as a liaison between clients and underwriters, strengthening relationships and processes.
• Reconcile accounts with clients, underwriters, and brokers to ensure funds are collected.
• Comply with internal procedures and regulatory requirements, escalating issues to senior management.
• Handle credit control requests from insurers and respond on settlement.
• Assist in reviewing and testing internal processes and systems, keeping up with market changes and system updates.

Requirements:

• Working knowledge of Insurance Broker Accounts.
• Experience with various software (i.e. Excel, Power BI).
• Experience within the London Market.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Keen attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Understanding of legal principles within insurance.
