Summary
The Information Delivery and Assurance Manager will lead the provision of Information Assurance and Delivery services across various programmes and projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives and compliance with organizational standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and coordinating information assurance functions, supporting both ongoing and emerging initiatives, and ensuring the successful delivery of digital solutions. This role requires a strategic leader with experience in managing complex information systems, ensuring security, and collaborating with multiple stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Information Assurance functions across a range of programmes and projects, ensuring the delivery of expertise and services to key stakeholders.
- Collaborate with project leads and senior management to ensure that information assurance requirements are integrated into project plans and execution.
- Provide expert advice on best practices for information architecture, data management, security, and information exploitation, ensuring alignment with business goals.
- Coordinate with other teams and departments to ensure a cohesive and integrated approach to information assurance and delivery across projects.
- Analyse operational requirements including bandwidth, interoperability, and security needs, and ensure these are addressed in the design and delivery of digital solutions.
- Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, to ensure alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
- Monitor compliance with governance, quality standards, and regulatory requirements, ensuring the highest standards of information assurance and security are met.
- Support the early stages of new programmes and projects, ensuring information assurance is considered from the outset.
- Provide leadership and guidance to teams, ensuring continuous improvement in information assurance practices and delivery processes.
- Facilitate the development and documentation of key information requirements, including Information Exchange Requirements (IER) and other relevant documentation.
- Drive continuous improvement in information assurance practices, keeping up to date with the latest trends and standards in the field.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Significant experience in Information Assurance, Digital Transformation, or a related field, with a strong focus on programme/project delivery.
- Proven experience in managing information assurance and related services, including information architecture, security, and data management.
- Strong understanding of information governance frameworks and regulatory compliance requirements.
- Experience with the development and documentation of Information Exchange Requirements (IER) or similar deliverables.
- Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to manage complex relationships across technical and non-technical teams.
- Proven ability to manage multiple, concurrent projects while maintaining a high level of attention to detail and quality.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
