The Role
Bottomline is looking for an Information Engineer to grow with us either remotely or in a Hybrid work environment out of our Theale, England UK office!
As an Information Engineer, you will collaborate with both business and technical users to define, develop, and test reports, dashboards, and analytics solutions. You will primarily leverage PowerBI and Snowflake to transform data into actionable insights, ensuring that our stakeholders have the information they need to make informed decisions.
How you’ll contribute
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting and analytics requirements
- Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to ensure data models in Snowflake support analytical needs.
- Conduct testing and validation of reports and dashboards to ensure accuracy and reliability.
- Provide training and support to end-users on the use of dashboards and reporting tools.
- Monitor and optimize the performance of reports and dashboards.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in data visualization and analytics.
What will make you successful:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field.
- 3- 5 years of experience in information engineering, data analysis, or a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerBI, SQL, and experience with Snowflake or similar data warehousing solutions.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into clear insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
