Role
We are looking for an Infrastructure and Automation Engineer to design, build, deliver, and run world-class digital solutions supporting our market-leading products for longevity risk analysis. In this role, you will:
- Collaborate: Work with principal and senior engineers, developers, architects, and data scientists to deliver sustainable solutions and gain invaluable experience from top industry leaders.
- Innovate: Contribute to award-winning projects within our Continuous Improvement of Releases (CIR) and Security Expert Group (SEG) teams, fostering a DevOps culture that promotes team autonomy and engineering excellence.
- Challenge Yourself: Engage in complex, scalable projects in novel market areas, making a meaningful impact.
About You
To thrive in this role, you should have experience with:
- Team Collaboration: Working with developers in T-Shaped teams.
- Automation & Scripting: Automating deployment processes and scripting.
- Infrastructure Management: Expertise in Infrastructure as Code / Software Defined Infrastructure.
- Cloud Services: Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, IaaS, and PaaS services.
- Best Practices: Implementing operational maturity and best practices for non-functional requirements.
- Security: Applying security mindsets, principles, and practices with RBAC authorization/authentication.
- Version Control: Collaborating using tools like Git for source control.
- Development Stacks: Working with various development stacks, cloud computing, and modern technologies.
- CI/CD: Implementing Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery with Azure DevOps or similar tools.
- Container Technologies: Experience with container technologies and platforms.
- ITIL Processes: Familiarity with ITIL processes including change, problem, service, and incident management.
