We are looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer who will work closely with the Senior Infrastructure Engineer on some projects but will own BAU support at a 3rd Line level. The engineer will also be expected to provide guidance and support to less experienced colleagues on matters in which you may be a subject expert and to take part in the on-call rota. Out of hours work will be required to complete some projects or system updates, these responsibilities are shared within the team.
Day To Day Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational skills to prioritise workloads.
- Ability to write technical documentation and how to guides.
- Understanding of ITIL and ideally experience of ITIL in end user IT operational environments, especially an understanding of change management best practice.

- Backup and DR Technologies (Veeam).
- Networking Skills (Cisco).
- Firewall / NGFW Skills (FortiGate).
- Cloud (AWS and Azure).
- Linux skills (RedHat / CentOS / Amazon Linux)
Desirable Qualifications
- Cisco CCNA / CCNP.
- MCSA / MCSE.
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator.
- ITIL v3/v4.
