The IT infrastructure Specialist manages, maintains, and enhances our IT infrastructure environment. This role will act as primary IT point of contact for London and Gloucester offices, on-site and remote support for critical incidents, desktop environments, and server infrastructure.

The IT infrastructure Specialist manages, maintains, and enhances our IT infrastructure environment. This role will act as primary IT point of contact for London and Gloucester offices, on-site and remote support for critical incidents, desktop environments, and server infrastructure.
Primary Activities
- Manage Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Okta and single sign-on environment.
- Deploy and manage Microsoft Intune and Auto Pilot for endpoint management.
- Ensure backup strategies are in place and maintained for all European servers.
- Implement and maintain IT security policies with cross-functional teams.
- Oversee network and server infrastructure, including firewalls, routers, switches and backup systems.
- Assist in large-scale IT projects, such as software rollouts, system migrations and network upgrades.
- Manage LAN, WAN, and Wi-Fi setups in UK offices.
- Provide first-level support and resolve issues for UK employees.
- Handle procurement, imaging and configuration of IT equipment for UK.
- Manage local contracts and procurement of devices and software.
- Coordinate event logistics, live-streaming, and AV setup.
- Provide regular reports on IT infrastructure status and issues.
- Quarterly travel required to a second office location for onsite support and system maintenance.
- Travel may involve overnight stays for Team meetings a couple of times every year in Europe or United States.
- Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Intune and Okta
- Strong understanding of networking protocols, DNS, DHCP and VPN
- Knowledge of backup strategies and IT security policies.
- Proficiency in network and server infrastructure management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Experience in IT equipment procurement and configuration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Customer-oriented with the ability to build positive relationships with users and staff.
