PURPOSE: Responsible for supporting the Abercrombie and Kent group external sales team in the UK and EMEA to produce and close quotes, production and distribution of monthly agency data,
organisation of sales meetings and roadshows and support the SVP and VP of sales in UK and
EMEA.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work with the business analyst team to create and distribute monthly reporting for agency accounts
- Prepare and present key performance indicators at internal sales meetings
- Work closely with the DMC leads to gather offers and itineraries that will stimulate sales and engagement through the travel trade in the UK and EMEA
- Support the generation of quotes via our DMCs and help translate where possible
- Support our GSA in the Middle East with the facilitation of training and information
- Create an A&K VIP agent group and work with marketing to mail regular ideas to stimulate sales
- Support the sales team with legal contract management
- Act as key liaison between the external sales team and marketing to ensure all requirements are communicated and fulfilled
- Maintain up to date knowledge of competitors as provided by the external sales team
ABOUT YOU:
- 3+ years sales support experience
- Experience using excel and power BI, interrogating large data sets
- Some tour operating experience in the UK or EMEA would be useful
- Proven telephone manner / ability to screen and qualify potential buyers
- Some contract management experience
- Work effective in a Global Matrix reporting organisation.
- Cross-market knowledge including, UK&EMEA
- Hungry, ambitious & driven mentality
- Confident with data (excel/power BI etc)
- Power point
- Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communications skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and analytical skills required.
- Core language English, another European language would be useful
- Self-starter
