The Role – Sales Director, Consumer Insights
Consumer Insights is the fastest-growing business unit at Reward, powered by our Intelligence Suite—a set of data & insight products that help retailers understand and grow their customer base. These solutions are built on our Consumer Insight panel, covering purchase behaviour for over 10% of the UK population.
To continue our expansion, we’re looking for a Sales Director to grow our retailer client base. You’ll lead the end-to-end sales process, delivering new clients and revenue growth. Leads will come from both our existing network and your own outreach. You'll collaborate with product and legal teams to craft tailored solutions and negotiate contracts.
This is a newly created role within a small but ambitious team, selling high-impact data & insight products. It’s an opportunity to help shape the future of Reward in the global data & insights space.
Key Responsibilities
✅ Own and deliver against new business sales targets for Reward’s Intelligence & Insight products.
✅ Leverage your existing network of retail and marketing tech decision-makers to generate leads.
✅ Support the Retail Partnerships Team in identifying new sales opportunities.
✅ Work with product & marketing to develop compelling sales materials.
✅ Understand client needs and design tailored solutions with our product specialists.
✅ Ensure a seamless handover to Client Success teams post-sale.
✅ Use HubSpot to track sales pipeline & revenue forecasts, reporting to ExCo.
✅ Monitor market trends and competitor insights to identify new growth opportunities.
What We’re Looking For
🔹 8+ years experience in enterprise sales with a track record of exceeding new business targets in data, insights, or tech sales.
🔹 A strong network of retail & marketing technology leaders.
🔹 Deep understanding of data & insights capabilities, with credibility when engaging technical stakeholders.
🔹 A persuasive communicator who can present complex ideas clearly to multiple stakeholders.
🔹 Highly commercial mindset, with experience managing budgets & profitability.
🔹 Consultative sales approach, identifying opportunities to enhance client engagement.
🔹 Experience using HubSpot (or similar CRM) to manage sales pipelines.
