A new Destination City Hub will work at the heart of the City Corporation to deliver our growth strategy. The Hub and programme have initial funding for 2 years.
This is a new role, and the post-holder will be tasked with helping to build and establish processes. The role is cross-appointed to support with insights for the Destination City programme as well as support analytics and analysis for our rolling 5-year Corporate Plan.
The Role
The post holder will split their time supporting the data production and collection needs of both the Destination City programme management team and the Corporate Strategy team.
You’ll identify, collect and migrate data to and from a range of systems – working closely alongside other analysts from across the City Corporation. You’ll bring together and link different data sets, and support both the DC Hub and the Corporate Strategy team summarise and present data, helping to translate technical concepts into non-technical language.
The Person
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with technical software and applications, knows how to access and interpret data, identifying possibilities and implications to non-experts. and manage internal stakeholders.
You have experience with integrating data from multiple sources and know how to bring together relevant information into interactive and accurate dashboards.
