brand-new intensive support service in Ellesmere Port, and we’re looking for a confident, motivated, and compassionate
Team Leader to help shape the future of the service and lead from the front.
As a Team Leader, you'll play a vital role in
supporting adults with learning disabilities, autism, and complex behaviours, guiding your team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care in a safe, positive, and empowering environment.
About the Role
- Lead a team of Support Workers to deliver outstanding care and support.
- Mentor and coach staff, ensuring professional development and effective team performance.
- Take the lead on daily operations, ensuring compliance with CQC standards and safeguarding protocols.
- Manage care plans, risk assessments, and medication administration accurately.
- Promote independence and active community involvement for the people we support.
- Handle day-to-day issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Support with rota planning, shift leadership, and staff communication.
About You
- Previous experience in a senior support role or team leadership position.
- Strong knowledge of supporting people with learning disabilities, autism, or mental health needs.
- Confident in leading a team and working under pressure.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Commitment to upholding person-centred care and promoting dignity and respect.
- A proactive, solution-focused attitude with great attention to detail.
