Interim FPA Consultant

Are you a seasoned FP&A Consultant with a strategic mindset and strong commercial acumen? We’re partnering with a well-known consumer business in Hertfordshire, renowned for its brand strength and market presence, to find an Interim Senior FP&A Manager who can hit the ground running and support the CFO through a critical phase of long-term planning.

In this high-impact interim role, you’ll work directly with the CFO to shape the financial future of the business. Your mission: to lead the development of a robust 3–5 year strategic plan, underpinned by sharp analysis, clear forecasting, and a solid understanding of valuation and market positioning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Partner with the CFO to define long-term financial and strategic goals.
• Build a comprehensive, data-driven 3–5 year financial strategy aligned with business priorities.
• Conduct in-depth valuations of the business, leveraging key financial metrics and industry trends.
• Engage with senior leaders and stakeholders across the business to align strategic initiatives.
• Present actionable insights and high-quality recommendations to inform critical decisions.
• Experienced FP&A Consultant with a track record of delivering strategic financial planning.
• Proven ability to support C-suite leaders (CFO/CEO) on high-level financial strategy projects.
• Strong skills in financial forecasting and valuation modelling.
• Confident communicator with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
• Previous experience in retail or consumer-facing sectors is highly desirable.

Contract: 3–6 months

Day Rate: £600–£750 per day (Outside IR35)

Location: Hertfordshire (Hybrid options available)
