Interim Indirect Tax Director (LH57503)

Eton Bridge Partners is working with a large online retailer to hire their Interim Indirect Tax Director. Part of the Group Finance leadership team, the role leads the global tax, customs, and transformation agenda, providing strategic tax advice and overseeing the end-to-end tax function.

Location: London - hybrid working 3 days in the office

Duration: 6 -9 months FTC

Compensation: £165k-175k plus benefits

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead global Indirect Tax, including advisory, audits, and compliance.
• Define tax strategy, manage risks, and ensure compliance across jurisdictions.
• Oversee customs and respond to global tax law changes.
• Ensure accurate tax reporting and maintain control frameworks.
• Advise on tax aspects of business initiatives and manage authority relationships.
• Develop tax team and support broader finance objectives.

Candidate Profile:

• CTA/ ACA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong experience in Indirect Tax and Customs
• Commercial approach to solving a problem and process improvement
• Strong leadership, communication and organisational skills
