Salary: £45,243 plus London allowance of £3,520 if applicable

Location: Blended between office and home (England and Wales). Time in office negotiable

Contract Duration: 12 -18 months


This is an exciting opportunity to take forward the Transformation activities across National teams and Local networks, to help build financial sustainability and enable Citizens Advice to strengthen its mission and continue to support those in need for another 80 years.


We are looking for an experienced Finance Analyst who can ensure we deliver a consistent and high quality service. The role will involve working within the finance team directly supporting transformation activities as well as working on longer-term changes to the financial and operational activities in national and local teams. The role will involve data analysis and information management to enable reviews and decision-making across project environments.


Modelling and reviews of ideas and change suggested through transformation areas. Ensure strong business reporting via links with the teams working to support the charity on a day to day basis and take part as a key team member in project and change management activities.

  • Proven ability in a finance consultancy role, or other role providing professional business services.
  • Experience in building financial models to assess or value new and existing opportunities including advising on financial risks.
  • Understanding of project costing principles, such as activity based costing, and value for money, and an ability to communicate these to internal stakeholders.


Please also ensure there is evidence of the following essential criteria within your CV.

  • Qualified professionally / academically in financial / management accounting (or equivalent experience).
  • Advanced Excel (including pivot tables and Visual Basic) and financial modelling skills, and highly proficient in other IT packages.
