Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Internal Communications Lead, who will be reporting into the Head of internal communications Manager, to support the development and delivery of the internal communications strategy across Europe and India. In this pivotal role, you will act as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to business functions, working closely with the executive team to align communications with key business priorities. You will be responsible for developing and implementing communication strategies, managing key projects, and leading a team to ensure clear, cohesive, and engaging communications through effective content and channels.

Key responsibilities:

Strategic interface: Serve as the primary internal communications interface for the functions and strategic enablers, working closely with executive leadership to ensure alignment and clear regional communication.

Trusted advisor: Provide expert counsel to senior leaders, developing effective communication strategies that drive engagement and understanding across the organisation.

Executive communications: work closely with members of the executive team to support with their tone of voice, personal brand and employee engagement strategies.

Stakeholder management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels, ensuring effective communication that connects the dots across teams and functions.

Vision and strategy development: Help shape and share the internal communication strategy for Europe & India, ensuring alignment with both global and local business goals.

Confidential information management: Intercept, manage, and appropriately handle confidential and privileged information with integrity and discretion.

Leadership and team management: Line manage the Channel Manager and Content Coordinators, promoting a collaborative, supportive, and high-performing team environment.

Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate with Internal Communications Leads across business lines to ensure consistent messaging and support local adaptation of strategies where required. Work closely with strategic marketing and external communications to align on the outside positioning of our brand.

Project support and leadership: Act as the number two to the Head of Internal Communications, stepping in to lead or support on key strategic projects and initiatives as needed.

Channel management: Oversee the delivery and optimisation of internal communication channels, ensuring they meet the evolving needs of the business.

Fast-paced environment: Thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment, adapting to changing priorities and providing pragmatic, forward-thinking communication solutions.

Qualifications
  • ·Proven experience in internal communications at a senior level, ideally within a large, matrixed organisation.
  • Demonstrated experience advising and supporting executive-level stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership and people management experience, with the ability to build and motivate teams and strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to connect the dots across multiple business areas.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
