The
Communications Manager, NEO (FTC) will partner with the business on the deployment of effective communication strategies and tactics to inform and engage employees working for L’Oréal UKI on the NEO project. NEO is a global transformation which will result in one business language, one cross-metier approach and one end-to-end vision across the entire organization.
The ideal candidate is an innovative and entrepreneurial self-starter with extensive experience of planning and executing multi-faceted communication plans, with strong detail orientation, and the proven ability to manage a multitude of priorities, and deadlines. This role requires building relationships throughout the Group and collaboration cross-functionally with a variety of internal stakeholders.
Responsibilities Including, But Not Limited To, The Following
- Collaborate with transformation project leads to understand key milestones, impacts, and messaging needs.
- Develop and execute project related communication plans targeting specific internal stakeholder groups e.g. general project awareness building, stakeholder communication plans, townhall information points, developing monthly newsletter content, information relating to shut down of platforms in the lead up to go live, key dates etc.
- Manage the implementation of global driven initiatives, strategically tailored to drive a high level of adoption for the UKI business audience e.g. adapting communication of the employee surveys and emails at key stages of the project.
- Build relationships with communications partners in the organisation, as well as key stakeholders, to influence alignment and seek opportunities to leverage ideas across teams.
- Create or adapt compelling content including senior leader communication, articles, FAQs in order to connect employees to global and local NEO objectives, business initiatives and department.
- Leverage various communication channels (intranet, newsletters, town halls, digital signage, etc.) to reach diverse audiences.
- Measure and analyse the effectiveness of communication and engagement efforts, providing recommendations for continuous improvement.
- Create and maintain content calendar for key comms formats e.g. screens, monthly digest etc.
- Oversee production of UKI NEO videos, working with an external provider
- Support on the maintenance of the UKI NEO sharepoint.
- Oversee the go live comms campaign for total UKI.
Knowledge And Skills
- Self-motivated, with an appetite for working entrepreneurially and a track record as a self-starter.
- Strong project management and communication skills, and the ability to execute programs and events with speed, accuracy and efficiency.
- Must be adaptable to changing business conditions.
- Outstanding influencing and interpersonal skills and a track record of working effectively and forming peer-level relationships with senior members of an organisation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as, strong listening skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office with a basic understanding of Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud, Capcut and Canva.
- An uncompromising commitment to quality – detail oriented but able to see the big picture.
- Team orientation, with a strong sense of commitment to team members and clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of Microsoft products.
Education And Experience
- Extensive experience working in a high paced environment.
- Degree level required, preferred in Corporate Communications
- Experience working in a role relative to internal or corporate communications required.
