This exciting new role will develop and execute global campaign strategies for Sony Music UK’s catalogue business, Commercial Group. This role has a huge focus on innovation – you’ll be responsible for architecting our international catalogue strategy, effectively and creatively managing how our catalogue is exploited ex-UK across an eclectic roster of artists, from Calvin Harris to Bring Me The Horizon and Myles Smith to Little Mix. You’ll work closely with both the UK labels and international markets on campaign development and execution, maximizing the opportunity for artists’ catalogues alongside new releases, chasing trends and identifying opportunities around key milestones.


What you'll do:

  • Bring a modern and proactive approach to building global marketing campaigns for our artists and their catalogues
  • Identify strategic opportunities for catalogue marketing activations in both the physical and digital space – spanning content marketing, anniversary campaigns, re-heat campaigns and remixes
  • Collaborate cross company between Sony UK’s Catalogue team (Commercial Group), our frontline labels and central teams (Fourth Floor Creative, commercial partnerships) to identify opportunities, develop and align strategies for maximum impact
  • Close collaboration with the international markets to implement campaign rollout, localizing activations as needed and ensuring good communication throughout regarding strategy, asset delivery, UK updates etc
  • Monitor data/dashboards to inform plans and strategy
  • Regular, comprehensive updates for artist management and UK labels as campaign progresses
  • Become a core part of the artist’s Sony team, contributing to the success of their music globally


Who you are:

  • Previous experience in a Marketing or Digital role
  • Open to candidates from a Domestic label background
  • Globally minded with a deep knowledge of the international music landscape
  • Creative, innovative, and proactive, driven to seek out opportunities and take on exploratory projects
  • Digitally savvy, with extensive knowledge of social media, and familiar with using data to inform marketing strategy
  • Ability to work across a varied roster managing several campaigns simultaneously
  • Detail oriented, an excellent communicator and enthusiastic collaborator who works well as part of a team
  • You must be passionate about music and the music industry
