Investment Associate / Analyst, Private Market Investments, Family Office, Abu Dhabi

Background:

Our client, an Emirati family office based in Abu Dhabi, is looking to hire an analyst / associate to assist the investment team of a large Abu Dhabi conglomerate on private market investments (PE, VC and Real Estate)

Responsibilities:

• Overall responsibility for day-to-day execution and implementation of transactions assigned by senior deal team members
• Coordinate with senior team members on investment opportunity assessments, structuring and financing processes and more complex transactions/projects
• Implement transaction process management – assumes responsibility for valuation and due diligence analyses
• Structures, coordinates and execute all due diligence workstreams
• Assist in preparing relevant documentation of investment analysis, including investment memoranda and PowerPoint presentations
• Take responsibility for portfolio companies monitoring, including regularly preparing for and attending management diligence sessions and reporting internally on a regular basis
• Assist in day-to-day asset management activities of existing real estate portfolio
• Contributing directly to ongoing business development, including maintaining detailed pipeline of prospects and potential deals and conducting research and analysis to support internal presentations and investment strategy

Requirements:

• 2-4 years experience from a top tier financial institution and will be currently working in Investment Banking/M&A Advisory or within Private Equity
• Candidate should display a strong academic background
• Good understanding of private equity, venture capital and/or real estate market dynamics would be beneficial
• Desire to work in a dynamic, entrepreneurial organization
