Role Context
The Media Investment Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the entire team and working together to deliver results and service our clients. The candidate will need to build on their knowledge of Wavemaker’s client base and integrate themselves within the agency as a point of contact for all planning and buying teams. This role is vital to ensuring the MIC team meet deadlines and ensure processes are complete and performed accurately. Responsibilities include the ongoing improvement in all aspects of net working capital (NWC) including review, implementation, and improvement of best practice for our clients, including working with key stakeholders such as clients, client account teams, our commercial team and shared service centre to drive this forward

Key Tasks
- Work with MIC manager to stablish new processes and improvements
- Actively work with Outsourced finance team to ensure media billing is performed monthly
- Work with media teams to ensure media bookings are reconciled on time and identify any areas of concern.
- Coordination of proactive monitoring and resolution of aged unbilled and late bookings, working closely with MIC controller.
- Support teams in managing complex client billing issues.
- Working with client teams in order to put in place processes that support and streamline the billing process.
- Generate and review aged analysis reporting for the business, monitoring client accounts for non-payments, delayed payments and escalating as necessary in an effective and timely manner.
- Ad hoc duties as requested by commercial team.
- Reviewing the booking system, identifying and resolving issues affecting our ability to invoice clients when required.
- Working with the Media investment controller to prepare month end reporting on debtors/late bookings & Unbilled.
Expectations:
- Good knowledge of Excel.
- Detailed knowledge and experience of using Media Ocean media/account systems.
- Experience in an accounts receivable environment.
- Able to build relationships with key stakeholders, Strong communication skills.
