This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-growing Investment Product team to support the development of our market-leading Wealth investment proposition, innovating and delivering great client outcomes.

You will support product strategy setting, and the product lifecycle from ideation to delivery, and through ongoing review, ensuring that solutions align with client needs, regulatory requirements and our product strategy. Whilst principally focused on mutual funds; Unit-Linked funds, DFM and other third-party investment services are in scope. The role spans product strategy, development, management and change as required.

What you’ll be doing:

• Assist in the design and development of new investment products, and changes to the existing range, including product positioning, defining target market, value propositions, and competitive analysis.
• Undertake review and analysis of existing investment products, ensuring they remain competitive, relevant and aligned with target market needs, and recommend modifications and enhancements as appropriate.
• Assist in the preparation of product documentation, including business cases, prospectuses, fact sheets, and marketing collateral as required.
• Conduct research to identify market trends, competitive products, and client preferences to feed into
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends that may affect product offerings.
• Help coordinate product launches and changes (namely, fund launches, fund manager replacements, reallocations and IMA updates).
• Work effectively with key stakeholders inside and outside the Investment Division.
• Ensure initiatives are developed in alignment with relevant regulation, following the relevant processes and required governance steps.
  
  

Who we’re looking for:

Essential Experience

• Experience of the asset management product lifecycle
• Familiarity with a range of investment strategies, structures and distribution strategies
• Asset management industry experience, including knowledge of the competitive landscape and regulatory environment
• Understanding of the UK Wealth market and SJP’s business model
  
  

Desirable experience

• Certifications (Preferred): CFA, CAIA, IMC or other relevant certifications.
