Investment Risk Analyst - Fixed Income

Miryco Consultants is working with a leading global asset manager to hire an Investment Risk Specialist with expert knowledge of Fixed Income investing. We’re looking to speak to leading talent with at least eight years of experience.

The role focuses on providing risk management analysis and expertise for fixed income investments globally, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives. Responsibilities include implementing frameworks, improving processes, and managing risk across global fixed income portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establishes efficient risk management systems for tracking and reporting global fixed income exposures.
• Leads efforts to improve investment processes and contributes valuable research and insights.
• Develops best practices for managing risk within fixed income and related business activities.
• Provides guidance on policies, procedures, limits, and risk management frameworks.
• Utilizes various analytical tools to enhance risk-return analysis, including performance attribution and stress testing.
• Leverages expertise to manage risks for both current and new fixed income funds.
• Delivers actionable insights to optimize the investment management process and improve risk-adjusted returns.
• Communicates complex analyses to senior leaders and portfolio managers.
• Develops advanced tools and techniques for assessing and validating investment models and risk management processes.
• Stays informed on financial markets and investment trends to support risk management efforts.
• Gains a comprehensive understanding of fixed income investment operations and integrates evolving business needs into risk analysis.
• Represents the investment team to both internal and external stakeholders.
• Engages in special projects and performs other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• At least eight years of relevant experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
• Professional certifications (e.g., CFA, FRM) preferred.

Working Arrangement: Hybrid (3 days a week in office)

Location: London

Salary: £120,000 - £150,000 + bonus (Dependant on experience)
