About the role :
Are you ready to make an impact in a dynamic role where technology meets business strategy? We are seeking an IS Business Partner (ISBP) to bridge the gap between Technical Services leaders and Information Systems (IS). In this pivotal position, you will champion IS capabilities and deliver technology solutions that align with business needs.
Acting as a key contact for business units, the ISBP works to understand drivers and explore alternatives, collaborating with IS teams to identify process improvements and system enhancements. By aligning business strategies with IS initiatives, the ISBP helps achieve shared goals.
The ISBP prioritises projects based on return on investment, client engagement, productivity, and compliance. As a "trusted advisor," they promote IS services and ensure technology effectively supports business objectives, collaborating with Business Technology Specialists for successful deployment
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Support: Collaborate with Technical Services leaders to drive business objectives through effective IT solutions.
- Project Management: Oversee project timelines and development of business cases for IT changes.
- Governance & Adoption: Ensure robust governance of systems and foster successful programme adoption across teams.
- Client Engagement: Promote IS services to current and prospective clients, showcasing our capabilities.
- Steering Projects: Lead delivery projects and support IT elements in tender submissions.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Extensive knowledge in Business Systems or IS, backed by a relevant degree or impressive career in Outsourced Services in a Hard Services FM background.
- Strategic Vision: Ability to identify practical solutions that align with broader business goals.
- Influencing Skills: Strong communicator with the ability to negotiate and persuade a variety of stakeholders.
- Organisational Skills: Proficient in managing projects and teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Adaptability: Open to change and eager to embrace new challenges.
