Position: IT Apprentice
Location: Glasgow Head Office
Job Type: Full time 39.5 hours, Permanent. Monday to Friday
Salary: £15,500 -£16,500 per annum

Overview
Matthew Algie are looking for an IT Modern Apprentice to join their team and support their staff across the UK and Ireland. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a professional and friendly environment whilst working towards an apprenticeship qualification!
You will be joining a friendly and supportive team who love what they do and enjoy working with each other.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide support to staff by responding to IT and system related queries via our IT ticketing system and over the phone.
- Support the diagnosis and resolution of common technical issues and refer more complex problems to senior staff when necessary.
- Assist with setting up new users including accounts, passwords and access permissions.
- Support with the installation, configuration and maintenance of hardware, software and digital tools.
- Assist in monitoring and maintaining IT systems, ensuring they are running efficiently.
- Support basic training to staff on using IT systems and tools effectively.
- Assist in creating training materials and documentation to help users resolve common technical issues independently.
