We are seeking a dynamic and highly skilled Regional IT Operations Director to deliver and drive the UK & EMEA regions IT services within our prestigious law practice. This role encompasses leadership and management of our core IT services, ensuring exceptional digital experience for the region. The ideal candidate has a successful track record in delivering IT services and managing complex IT operations at scale.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Regional IT budget, including data centre and cloud costs
- Accountable for the Technology Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity capabilities
- Lead the decommissioning of hardware and software and enable digital transformation compute requirements.
- Provide operational communications, Executive Board Service Reporting, and to publish and maintain a continuous service improvement roadmap.
- Regional Digital Experience: Manage Service Desk operations, delivering seamless IT support to users across the region.
- Administer and enhance Microsoft technologies to drive business efficiency and innovation.
- Lead and support Tech Bar initiatives, providing hands-on assistance for workplace IT solutions.
What will help you succeed in this role?
Essential
- Data centre consolidation, data centre operations, journey to SaaS and cloud
- Extensive knowledge and experience on MS Azure technology
- Proven experience in IT Operations management or related fields.
- In-depth knowledge of Service Management, Budgeting, Service Delivery, Continuous Improvement, Data Centre and Cloud operations, APIs, and Microsoft technologies.
- Strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and frameworks in the context of keeping operational hardware and software secure and compliant.
- Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills.
Desirable
- Experience with Sharedo, HubSpot or similar applications or platforms
- Background in the insurance sector or a related professional services industry
