We are seeking a skilled IT Tech Bar Lead to manage our digital workplace capabilities. You will be responsible for the development and execution of the Tech Bar strategy, leading a team of analysts and ensuring seamless hardware support and maintenance for over 2000 colleagues.
Main Responsibilities:
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of over 2100 devices (laptops, iPads, mobile phones), meeting room AV systems and peripherals, maintaining accurate asset records and ensuring operational efficiency.
- Develop and execute a continuous, cloud-based patching strategy for all laptops to ensure compliance, optimal performance and robust security.
- Oversee the design, implementation and maintenance of our Tech Bar across both office sites, enhancing functionality and user experience.
- Act as the primary contact for escalations, service enquiries and reporting on the company's suite of devices and peripherals, maintaining effective communication.
- Manage the diagnosis and resolution of complex incidents related to client devices and peripherals, adhering to defined targets and KPIs for service delivery.
- Ensure timely and effective resolution of CERT alerts, security audit findings, and penetration test results, following SLAs and governance frameworks to maintain device and peripheral security and integrity.
- Evaluate emerging products and services within the Quarterly Planning lifecycle, providing recommendations to leverage effective technologies to support strategic objectives.
Skills and Experience:
- Experience designing and building secure laptop builds adhering to security principles and best practices.
- Certified ITIL service operations.
- Strong troubleshooting skills across client device services for optimal performance and stability.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Windows desktop operating systems and office applications.
- IT Support experience at a technical or management/Team Leader level.
- Knowledge of change management principles.
- Excellent communication skills - adapts style and content to the audience's needs.
- Proven ability to build relationships, present convincing arguments, and negotiate effectively to achieve realistic outcomes.
