Role Overview:

We're looking for a Junior Installation Engineer to join our growing team. No prior AV experience is required, we're looking for someone with the right attitude, a passion for technology, and a willingness to learn.

This role offers hands-on experience in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of audio-visual (AV) systems.

The successful candidate will work alongside experienced engineers, gain valuable industry knowledge while assisting in AV projects across various sites. You'll receive full training and be supported every step of the way to become a confident and capable engineer.

Key Responsibilities:

• Uphold the AVM values (positivity, empathy and innovation) and our reputation with clients, partnes and suppliers.

• Assist in the installation of AV equipment, including projectors, displays, speakers, digital displ ays and video conerencing systems.

• Installation and basic programming of AV control systems.

• Learn to read and interpret AV schematics and layout drawings.

• Assist in first and second fix structured cabling - pulling, terminating, soldering, and testing.

• Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues during installation.

• Maintain tools, equipment and workspaces in a professional manner.

• Ensure all work meets industry standards and compay quality expectations.

• Follow health & safety regulations and company procedures on-site.

Quaifications and Experience:

• A real self-starter who actively seeks feedback and applies learning to improve performance.

• Interest in audio visual technology, or electrical engineering.

• Willingness to learn and take on new challenges.

• Strong problem-solving ablities and attention to detail.

• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.

• Develop positive working relationships with team members and stakeholders.

• Excellent commuication and interpersonalskills.

• Full UK driving license.

• Willingness to travel.
