🚀 The Job Mission
This role supports a major UK nuclear power plant project within the civil/structural engineering domain.
You’ll operate within a multidisciplinary environment under senior engineering leadership.
Your future team will help implement and manage design changes across project governance.
⚡️ Lead kick-off meetings with Civil and/or Steelwork teams on design topics
⚡️ Take ownership of Open Points and manage their resolution through to closure
⚡️ Ensure technical modifications align with the correct reference configuration
⚡️ Track progress of technical instructions to meet target milestones
⚡️ Coordinate across impacted engineering functions to unblock key issues
⚡️ Record project governance decisions and ensure timely implementation
⚡️ Proactively escalate risks or issues to senior engineers
⚡️ Capture and communicate lessons learnt to benefit wider project teams
Essential Skills:
🛠 Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
🛠 Knowledge of design stages – basic to execution
🛠 Experience in structural design in regulated industries
🛠 Strong Excel skills for data tracking and analysis
🛠 Organised and proactive with strong time management
Desired Skills:
✔️ Experience in design change management processes
✔️ Familiarity with RCC and Eurocode 3
✔️ Comfortable working in large multidisciplinary teams
✔️ Fluency in French is a strong plus
✔️ Previous experience on nuclear infrastructure projects
