Where you’ll be based

This role is based in Feltham, London (Hybrid Working: in the office 60% and WFH 40%) but from the end of 2025, we will have a new office based in Richmond upon Thames.

How you could help us to Enchant the World with Chocolate

We have an exciting opportunity where you could be a part of our incredible team.

As part of the Accounting Team, the primary purpose of the role is to support the day-to-day monitoring and reporting of overhead cost centres, for both the Wholesale and Ireland divisions. Gathering inputs from budget holders to ensure cost centres accurately reflect all relevant costs. Ensure that costs are in line with expected spend, working cross functional to improve cost management. This role reports into the Financial Accountant.

Cost Centre Reporting

  • Regular review of Cost Centres with Budget Holders
  • Create reports to facilitate Head of Accounting / Finance Manager reviews with Directors
  • Responsible for production of Budget / Latest Estimates Cost Centre reporting
  • Take ownership of system updates for respective overhead cost centres
  • Run monthly Cost Centre reports and send out to Budget Holders in a timely manner, provide high level commentary on significant variances
  • Work closely with Cost Centre Managers to plan and forecast future expenditure
  • Create useful tools to allow managers to track and plan their spend optimally (e.g., Research costs)

Month End

  • Complete month end close process ensuring accurate costs reflected in SAP and both local and Group reporting requirements are delivered
  • Monthly variance analysis of overheads, including commentary
  • Understand cost drivers and update with understanding gained with regular reviews with Managers
  • Responsible for completion of monthly balance sheet reconciliations, investigation, and resolution of discrepancies
  • Managing and reconciling Purchase Orders across Wholesale and Ireland

Internal Controls

  • Ensuring internal controls are operating effectively on day-to-day processes via the Lindt Internal Control (LICS)

Other

  • Carry out additional tasks as necessary, aligning with the company's objectives

What Experience You’ll Bring

  • Part qualified or finalist accountant (CIMA/ACCA)
  • Have strong communication and networking skills to build strong cross functional relationships
  • 2-3 years of accounting experience
  • Prior experience of SAP
  • Be performance driven, tenacious and goal orientated
  • Good knowledge of Excel, experience of accounting systems
