Junior Graphic Designer

We're on the lookout for a driven Junior Designer eager to start their journey into the design world or to take their 1-2 years’ experience further, working across design for print and digital creative disciplines, to join our small passionate team.

Role Overview:

As a Junior Designer, you'll collaborate with our creative and project management team on projects spanning brand identity, brochure design, slide decks, artworking, illustration and photo/video editing management and delivery. We’re a small team meaning that each day is different with many different projects, pitches and work to be involved in!. We aim to support any areas of growth and we’ll encourage and support you with the tools to grow.

The Role:

Your day to day will consist of quality focussed delivery and execution of many design briefs and preparing them for print-ready and digital files. You’ll report to our Senior Team (made up of designers and project managers) and work closely with a hands on, fun, friendly, supportive team, consisting of our Founder, aforementioned Designers, Project Managers and support Team. You’ll get to present and work with clients, work with our web development team and basically get hands on experience in all aspects of a well run busy agency. Main Responsibilities:

• The adaption / create high quality pdf and print-ready brochures and pricelists for some of our most prestigious clients.
• Adapt / create compelling and dynamic slide decks and presentations, either in InDesign, PowerPoint and Google Sheets
• Be involved in the delivery of brand identity projects including the execution of brand guideline documentation.
• Design and develop high-quality marketing materials, including brochures, signage, email campaigns, social media assets, website graphics, and digital ads
• Adapt creative designs into multiple formats and dimensions while maintaining design consistency
• Create inspiring infographics 
• Prepare print-ready files, ensuring, accurate bleed, crop marks, and formats
• Create optimised digital assets for web, social media, and other online platforms
• Content upload to client websites CMS as part of any website delivery.
• Ensure all artwork adheres to brand guidelines, ensuring consistency in brand identity across all visual materials.
• Proof and quality check work before handing off to stakeholders
• Collaborate with the team on interpreting design briefs, providing creative input on projects in their infant stage
• Support the team with visual assets for our own marketing.
• Collaborate with client point of contacts along side our PM’s including marketing managers, sales teams, founder/owners and coordinators to understand project objectives and create impactful designs.
• Stay updated on industry trends and bring fresh, innovative ideas to the team.
• Liaise with external suppliers, including printers and signage providers, to ensure the highest quality output.

Requirements:

• Brilliant using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign being a must, with Acrobat, Photoshop and Illustrator a close second!)
• Strong experience with presentation software (Google Sheets, PowerPoint, Canva?!)
• Familiarity with web design principles using Figma
• An understanding of preparing artwork for print 
• An understanding of typography and hierarchical design
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to self-growth
• Be able to multi-task and work to tight and overlapping deadlines
• Be energetic, enthusiastic, innovative and be keen to learn, along with using initiative in the day-to-day tasks.

Desirable but not essential:

• Storyboarding and illustration skills
• Basic understanding of video and animation software (Premiere Pro / After Effects)
• Video production and editing experience
• Motion graphics/animation
• Basic level Wordpress/HTML/CSS or coding knowledge
• Some experience in the luxury, property or automotive sectors
