Description

We currently seeking an outstanding individual to join us as a Junior Management Accountant to assist with the production of the management accounts for the College Group (including subsidiaries).


This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week.


It is expected that interviews for this role will take place on-site, at one of our college campuses in Weston-super-Mare.


Key Duties and responsibilities

  • Financial Reporting and Analysis e.g. Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts including preparation of all Management Journal Transfers.


  • Budget Management e.g. Assist the business planning process for assigned cost centres, providing supporting analysis for cost centre owners.


  • Compliance, Risk and Audit e.g. Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.


  • Collaboration e.g. Providing an excellent level of customer service, supporting through business partnering.


  • Process Improvement e.g. Identifying and implementing improvements in financial processes and systems.


Required skills and qualifications

  • AAT Qualified.


  • Excellent IT skills using the MS Office package, particularly in Excel.


  • Experience in financial management, preferably within the education sector.
