Description
We're looking for a highly motivated and analytical Junior Procurement Analyst to join our dynamic Procurement team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a passion for data, process improvement, and strategic thinking to make a significant impact within a rapidly growing organization. You'll play a crucial role in building our long-term procurement strategy, optimizing spend, and fostering strong business relationships. What You'll Do

  • Data & Analytics:
  • Become the go-to expert for procurement data, owning the integrity and accuracy of information within our procurement tools.
  • Develop, maintain, and own all procurement reporting, providing insightful analysis to support decision-making.
  • Collaborate closely with the Procurement Manager to analyse spend data and identify opportunities for cost savings and value creation.
  • Utilise advanced Excel skills to manipulate, analyse, and present complex datasets.
  • Strategic Sourcing & Project Management:
  • Partner with internal teams to understand their needs and contribute to the development of long-term procurement strategies for each department.
  • Lead and communicate effectively on procurement projects, from initiation to completion.
  • Build and run comprehensive Request for Proposals (RFPs), managing the end-to-end process.
  • Manage multiple small and larger projects simultaneously, demonstrating excellent organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • Business Partnering & Communication:
  • Act as a key business partner, fostering strong relationships with internal stakeholders across all departments.
  • Work closely with Finance on budgeting and forecasting related to procurement activities.
  • Collaborate with Legal, DPO, InfoSec, and Risk teams to ensure compliance and mitigate risks in all procurement activities.
  • Train and educate internal teams on procurement policies, processes, and best practices.
  • Supplier Lifecycle Management & Risk:
  • Lead the onboarding and renewal of suppliers, ensuring a smooth and efficient process.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify potential suppliers and market trends, particularly within our significant software spend.
  • Manage supplier relationships, including conducting performance reviews and driving continuous improvement.
  • Lead the due diligence process across all our suppliers, ensuring adherence to company standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct initial reviews of contracts, flagging key terms and potential risks to the Procurement Manager and Legal team.
  • Tool Management:
  • Manage and optimise the existing procurement tools, ensuring their effective utilisation and data accuracy.

Skills And Experience

  • A minimum of 1 years of experience in a procurement or analytical role.
  • Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, advanced formulas, data manipulation).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently on projects while also thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional team environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
  • Comfortable with leading discussions and presenting findings to various audiences.
  • Knowledge of RFP processes and supplier management best practices.
  • A proactive and results-oriented mindset with a keen eye for detail.
  • Experience with procurement software/tools is a plus.

Working Policy

We have a hybrid policy that includes 2 days from our London office and 3 from home. If the role states it is either hybrid or remote candidates must be based within the UK.
