Job Summary: The Junior Sales Manager will support the sales team in driving sales and achieving the company's objectives in the UK. This role involves assisting in identifying new market opportunities, developing relationships with customers, and promoting Ormazabal's portfolio of products and solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Tender Preparation: Prepare and manage tenders and proposals for engineering projects, including the development of technical and commercial documents, led by departmental and commercial management requirements.
  • Customer Base Development: Assist in identifying, developing, and maintaining a customer base across the UK through effective research, planning, and relationship-building.
  • Relationship Management: Support the development of strong relationships within existing customers, as well as acquire and grow new customers.
  • Brand Ambassador: Act as an ambassador for the Ormazabal brand and its solutions in the UK.
  • Sales Processes: Assist in developing and standardising commercial tools to improve sales processes.
  • Technical and Commercial Relationships: Support the establishment of technical and commercial relationships with suppliers and partners to provide turn-key solutions.
  • Market Analysis: Support the team with market analysis to identify new opportunities and trends.
  • Sales Pipeline: Monitor and manage the sales pipeline within Salesforce to ensure consistent progress and achievement of targets.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Focus on maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction and addressing any challenges or blockers.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the sales team and other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
  • Documentation: Maintain and organise all tender-related documentation and records.
  • Manufacturing Strategy Awareness: Be aware of the company's manufacturing/purchasing strategy and manufacturing capability.
  • Other Duties: Perform any other reasonable duties as required.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Organisational Skills: Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in using MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Experience: Experience in tendering, administration, or sales support in the engineering industry is desirable.
  • Technical Knowledge: Experience with HV and LV electrical distribution systems is advantageous.

Salary: £40,000-48,000

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Mon- Thurs 8am-5pm
  • Fri- 8am-1pm
