UK – Field Based

A private owned global manufacturing organization, supplying a vast range of high-performance fluid sealing products and associated knowledge-based services to virtually every industry sector. With state-of-the-art skills in materials technology, particularly relating to elastomers, polymers, composites and engineering plastics plus extensive expertise in precision machining of exotic alloys for metallic seals, and tension control fasteners for bolted joints.


Your Role

A passionate Key Account Manager who will partner with and ensure the long-term success of our customers.

You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships within your territory and portfolio of assigned customers, connecting with key business stakeholders. You will liaise between customers and cross-functional internal teams to ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs.


Key Responsibilities

  • Play an integral role in new business pitches and hold responsibility for the effective on-boarding of new customers
  • Identify and grow opportunities within territory and collaborate with the Field Sales Teams to ensure growth attainment
  • Operate as the lead point of contact for any and all matters specific to customers within key territory
  • Build new business relationships using new and existing industry contacts
  • Manage customer relationships to provide the customer with excellent service and support
  • Implement negotiations within customer base in order to maintain, develop and acquire business within agreed parameters
  • Proactively work with the Field Sales Team to support innovation, cost saving and project delivery


About you

Essential Experience

  • Working in a proactive External Account Manager capacity which involves taking the lead and using initiative to develop and establish customer relationships

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience of working within an Account Management Role

Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications

  • GCSE educated including Maths and English or equivalent

Preferred Qualifications

  • Engineering qualification
