The role

As a Labourer, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You’ll be responsible for general site labour duties such as lifting, shifting, litter picking and cleaning external areas. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys active, outdoor work and takes pride in keeping spaces safe and presentable.

Day-to-day, you’ll assist in the general site tidiness, which includes litter picking as well as:

• Loading, unloading and moving materials and equipment
• Clearing and maintaining designated workspaces
• Carry out daily instructions issued by site supervisors and stakeholders, who manage and prioritise additional tasking
• Operate basic equipment and tools as required, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  
  
  

This role is full time and based onsite at RAF Cosford. This role is a 52-week fixed term contract. This is a Monday-Friday role worked on a 9-day fortnight, offering every other Friday off – a valuable benefit to support work life balance. Essential experience of the Labourer:

• Strong physical fitness and stamina for manual labour tasks.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations in a work environment.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. to interact effectively with team members and supervisors.
• Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous but not essential.
  
  
  

Qualifications for the Labourer:

Security Clearance

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Standard (BPSS) clearance for this role.
