CSCS Labourer

Location: Heywood, Rochdale

Position: Labourer

Salary: £16.14 per hour (Umbrella)

Contract Type: 3 weeks+

Start date: Monday 23rd June

Daniel Owen are currently recruiting for CSCS Labourers to join a team on a high-profile commercial refurbishment project. The role requires someone with a proactive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced construction environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting skilled tradespeople (e.g., carpenters, electricians, plumbers) with day-to-day tasks
• Manual handling, moving and distributing materials, tools, and equipment around site
• Site preparation and clearance, ensuring walkways and work areas remain clean and hazard-free
• Helping to erect and dismantle temporary structures such as barriers and signage
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures and reporting any potential risks
• Taking direction from the site supervisor and project managers
  
  

Essential Requirements

• Valid CSCS card (Green card minimum)
• Previous experience working on construction or refurbishment sites
• Good understanding of health and safety protocols on active building sites
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual tasks
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Reliable, punctual, and professional in conduct
• Full PPE (hard hat, safety boots, high-visibility vest/jacket)
