Purpose of role
Reporting to the Head of Complex and Third Party Claims, you'll will manage your own portfolio of motor cases, focusing on claims exceeding £100k including losses for injury, credit hire, vehicle and property damage. This position requires not only excellent communication and negotiation skills but also a deep understanding of liability, indemnity, and quantum issues to effectively drive down claims costs while ensuring fair compensation for injured claimants. As a Large Loss Handler you'll also be acting as a technical referral point to provide coaching, mentoring, and training to the claims handling teams.

Our hybrid way of working is unique. We foster a flexible approach that empowers every Zegon to perform at their best. We ask you to spend at least one day a week in either our central London office or Halifax office. You'll also spend at least 1 day per month in of our offices for team development. We provide a hybrid contribution to help pay towards your travel costs. We think it's a good mix of collaborative face time and flexible home-working, setting us up to achieve the right balance between work and life.
