We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead Data Scientist to join our business as we continue to scale.
The Lead Data Scientist will drive the development of predictive models and data-driven decision-making for energy technology applications. They will play a key role in analysing system performance, optimizing operations, and integrating machine learning techniques into energy balancing strategies.

You'll Spend Your Time
- Building and deploying machine learning models for energy forecasting and system optimization
- Working closely with engineers and mathematicians to validate data-driven models
- Designing and implementing real-time analytics for monitoring grid stability
- Developing algorithms for energy market interactions, including bidding strategies
- Ensuring data quality and integrity for accurate model outputs
The Key Experience We're Looking For
- A degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in applied data science and machine learning
- Proficiency in Python, TensorFlow/PyTorch, and data visualization tools, big data Frameworks, GCP/Azure
- Very strong background in time-series analysis and forecasting
The Following Would Be Advantageous
- Experience in energy markets, grid optimization, or renewable integration
- Knowledge of blockchain technology and decentralised computing
- Familiarity with reinforcement learning and decision optimisation
