Rebura is seeking a talented and motivated Lead AWS DevOps Engineer to join our growing
team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and supporting cloud
infrastructure and automation solutions for a variety of customers. You will work closely with
our solutions architects, engineers, and client teams to build and maintain scalable, resilient,
and secure AWS environments that meet modern DevOps standards.

The Lead DevOps role at Rebura is crucial in ensuring that we deliver the best outcomes for our
customers. The role requires a highly skilled engineer who is capable of customer interaction as
well the ability to share their knowledge with the wider team to raise the bar across
organisation.

ABOUT THE ROLE
* Design, build, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code
(IaC) such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation.
* Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions,
GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
* Automate deployment, scaling, and monitoring of cloud applications and
services.
* Implement and manage containerised workloads using Amazon ECS, EKS, or
Fargate.
* Configure and manage observability stacks including CloudWatch, Prometheus,
Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools.
* Support and execute cloud migration projects following the AWS Migration
Acceleration Program (MAP) methodology-covering the Assess, Mobilise, and
Migrate & Modernise phases.
* Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and disaster recovery strategies are in
place for critical systems.
* Apply security best practices across AWS environments, including IAM policy
management, encryption, and compliance controls.
* Participate in architecture discussions and support the delivery of customer
solutions.
* Support and Mentor other members of the team and act as an escalation for
guidance and resolving blockers
* Support cloud cost optimisation and provide guidance on well-architected
designs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams in Agile delivery frameworks.
ABOUT YOU
* Proven experience in a DevOps, Cloud Engineering, or Site Reliability
Engineering (SRE) role.
* Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, RDS, Lambda,
ECS/EKS, CloudFront, etc.).
* Expertise in Infrastructure-as-Code using Terraform (preferred) or
CloudFormation.
* Experience with CI/CD tools and creating automated deployment pipelines.
* Strong scripting skills (Python, or similar).
* Hands-on experience with Docker and container orchestration (EKS, ECS, or
Kubernetes).
* Familiarity with monitoring, alerting, and logging tools.
* Solid understanding of networking, security, and system administration
principles.
* AWS certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Solutions Architect
Associate/Professional) are a plus.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work directly with clients and
internal stakeholders.
* Comfortable working in fast-paced consulting or MSP environments with
multiple projects
* Experience with GitOps methodologies
* Knowledge of serverless architecture using AWS Lambda, API Gateway,
DynamoDB, etc.
* Exposure to compliance standards such as ISO 27001, SOC2, or PCI-DSS.
* Familiarity with multi-account AWS environments using AWS Organisations and
Control Tower.
* Previous experience working for a consultancy or AWS Partner.
