Lead Practitioner of English

As our Lead Practitioner for English, you will be an exceptional teacher of English with skills and knowledge of phonics and Early Reading to enable you to contribute across our all-through setting. Experience across phases is welcomed; the successful candidate will be committed to becoming a highly successful teacher in both phases. You will be instrumental in implementing and delivering an exceptional curriculum, drawn from the Trust's curriculum offer, and supporting an all-through sequence of learning from 2-16. Your passion for English will ensure every child enjoys opportunities within and beyond the classroom and supporting a lifelong understanding and ability to have a healthy, active lifestyle. Our English curriculum starts with the implementation of Little Wandle’s Foundation for Phonics in our earliest years and spans to our highly ambitious secondary curriculum offer.
