Job Description
At Heathrow, we’re not just an airport—we’re a community of passionate professionals working together to deliver world-class experiences. As we continue to transform our digital capabilities, we’re looking for a Scrum Lead to help us drive agile delivery across our technology teams.
As Scrum Lead, you’ll play a pivotal role in enabling high-performing agile teams to deliver value at pace. You’ll be responsible for coaching and guiding Scrum teams, removing impediments, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Working within our Centre of Excellence you will work closely with Product Owners, Delivery Leads, and Technical Architects, you’ll ensure that agile principles are embedded in everything we do—from sprint planning to retrospectives.
Your role will involve
- Facilitating Scrum ceremonies and ensuring agile best practices are followed.
- Supporting teams in identifying and removing blockers to delivery.
- Championing collaboration, transparency, and accountability across cross-functional teams.
- Working with stakeholders to ensure alignment between business goals and delivery outcomes.
- Using data and metrics to drive performance and continuous improvement.
These Skills Are Essential
- Proven experience as a Scrum Master or Agile Coach in a complex, fast-paced environment.
- Strong understanding of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe).
- Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
- Experience working with digital platforms such as Salesforce or Adobe is a plus.
- A collaborative mindset and a passion for empowering teams.

Working Location
Our Hybrid working approach offers the opportunity for colleagues in some roles to work from home for an average of two days a week, providing the flexibility to work in an agile way whilst ensuring we deliver for the operational needs of Heathrow . Working arrangements vary from team to team and will be confirmed during the recruitment process. You’ll need to be based in the UK and within a commutable distance to Heathrow.
