LEARNING AND DEVELOPMENT PARTNER/SPECIALIST

Part time – 3 days per week

Hybrid Bristol based with UK travel

£32,000 - £37,000 DOE – pro-rata 3 days

THE PEOPLE TEAM


The People Team are based across several locations in the UK, working both onsite with Agencies and remotely. We are a professional, close-knit team, comprising of 16 specialists in Strategic Partnering, Resourcing, L&D, and People Services.


Reporting into the Senior Learning & Development Partner, this is a busy hands-on learning role that will see you working across all Agencies within the Mission Group.

YOUR L&D RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Support and facilitate learning solutions that satisfy the needs of a diverse set of learners (blended learning); face to face, microlearning, webinars, interactive modules, quick reference guides, job aids, videos, online courses, etc.
  • Support the Senior L&D Partner in conducting learning needs analysis, and measuring learning effectiveness
  • Optimise our LMS so it is learner centric, relevant, and kept up to date.
  • Implement and coordinate programmes, support apprenticeship opportunities, and emerging talent Initiatives.
  • Assist with end-to-end design, development, and facilitation of learning content, from initial concept through final implementation.
  • Coordinate internal and external training logistics, manage agency participation, and oversee all operational aspects.


YOUR PARTNERING ROLE


  • Work with our People Team and our agencies to understand their needs and develop effective measurable learning plans
  • Feed data into the group plan and ensure we offer learning on up-to-date topics
  • Explore up to date L&D initiatives with a growth mindset and a keen eye for the latest trends.
  • Work with the Senior L & D Partner on learning strategy, planning and solutions
  • Support learning projects, managing multiple stakeholders, across our agencies.
  • Visualise and work on project progress with Senior L&D Partner and People Team, adeptly managing hybrid work settings.


WHAT DO I NEED?


We’re seeking a confident communicator with demonstrable experience presenting to clients and facilitating engaging learning experiences. Ideally, you’ll have a background in L&D or a similar role, along with relevant qualifications such as CIPD Level 3 or coaching certifications. Strong consulting and stakeholder management skills are essential, as is the ability to use data insights to improve learning outcomes. Experience developing apprentice or graduate programmes is a plus. You’ll be highly organised, detail-focused, and proficient in MS Office, with excellent written, verbal, and visual communication skills. A proactive, collaborative approach and a positive attitude are key to thriving in our supportive team environment.
