Learning, Development & Talent Coordinator
We're currently recruiting for a Learning, Development & Talent Coordinator to join our Natural Resource, Nuclear & Networks Learning & Development Team. This role will provide support to our Head of Learning & Talent and wider team to carry out learning and development initiatives within the Natural Resources, Nuclear & Networks business unit.
Location: Basingstoke, Hampshire with occasional travel to the office required (flexibility on location provided)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week – some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us
Contract: Permanent, full-time and able to consider part-time opportunities
Responsibilities
As a Learning, Development & Talent Coordinator, your day-to-day responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Providing a Learning & Development Administrative service to the Natural Resources Nuclear & Networks Business.
- Identifying and responding to customer needs and ensure customer service is effective and meets requirements.
- Supporting in the maintenance of the Kier Learn (LMS), ensuring information is updated in a timely manner.
- Maintaining and updating training plans which support business objectives, meet legislative requirements, and maximising employee capability and provide a future talent.
- Sourcing appropriate L&D solutions based on training plan requirements, ad-hoc requests and development training, ensuring the appropriate approval is received.
- Liaising with suppliers (internal and external) and managers to book trainers and venues for training requirements as required in a timely manner, ensuring maximum attendance.
What are we looking for?
This role of Learning, Development & Talent Coordinator is great for you if you have:
- Demonstrable knowledge of working within a Learning & Development function.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Experience of working with invoices and budgets and a good understanding of reporting requirements and escalation procedures.
- Ability to confidentially manage employee data.
- Experience in providing accurate data and reporting in relation to L&D.
- Good communication skills both written and verbal.
