As our Learning and Development Programme Manager you will be hands on in supporting our global strategic and customised development programmes, including the support of systems used to manage the delivery of learning initiatives across our organisation.


To be successful in your application, you will need to bring experience in managing Learning and Development programmes, preferably within a global organisation. Additionally, you will require knowledge in how to apply relevant training theory when creating and delivering soft skills training programmes. As the role will entail significant interaction with a wide range of stakeholders, engaging interpersonal skills are crucial for this role, as well as highly effective time management and the ability to focus on accuracy and attention to detail.

A qualification in adult education and learning, or CIPD would be beneficial.

Location: This position will be based at our Bracknell office (Hybrid working).


Travel: There will be some limited travel to our Cirencester office for meetings and training delivery. There will also be a requirement to travel to the Netherlands on a quarterly

basis to facilitate the company Induction Programme*

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES


Training Support

• Responsible for supporting the design and delivery of a variety of learning and development initiatives across our global footprint

• Engage with external training providers - researching, advertising and evaluating a variety of relevant training courses

Training Development

• Support the provision of professional development skills training, including career development activities to support talent management in accordance with the global training policy

• In partnership with the L & D team, facilitate the delivery of the induction programme

Training Effectiveness

• Provide data to support training needs analysis from individual performance reviews

• Devise creative methods to communicate and market programmes

Training Frameworks and Systems

• Support the development and administration of the global training curriculum aligned to business priorities, to include the utilisation and best practices of digital learning tools

• Manage logistics of training program delivery including scheduling courses, managing rosters, creating meeting invitations, and recording training in learning management system


ABOUT YOU


Skills, Experience and Competencies required

Essential

• Significant experience (3 years +) working as a Learning and Development Programme Manager

• Experience in designing and delivering soft skills training programmes

• Proficiency in MS Office 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• A competent user of Learning Management Systems (LMS)

• Knowledge of effective learning and development methods and theories with focus on adult learning techniques

• Knowledge and application of evaluation methodologies and reporting

• Knowledge of e-learning platforms and adoption practices

• Effective interpersonal skills: ability to build strong relationships quickly and effectively

• Ability to influence and motivate others in a positive and constructive way

• Exceptional planning and organisational skills, with good administrative skills with attention to detail and good follow-up

• Ability to work effectively with people from a range of different cultures

• Outcome focused, adaptable and resilient

Desirable

• CIPD, plus adult learning qualification

• Previous experience gained within the IT distribution channel
