This brand-new Learning Manager role will own and oversee our proposition, ensuring we’re firmly future focused and meeting the needs of the business.
Are you ready to help shape the future of learning at NFU Mutual? In this exciting Learning Manager role, you’ll play a pivotal role in defining, implementing, and enhancing our learning strategy and delivery model. You’ll ensure our training standards are not only met but consistently exceeded, enabling the NFU Mutual Agency Network to achieve their business objectives while providing exceptional service. Contributing to the development and management of our Agency Learning strategy, you’ll focus on planning, risk management, and effective communication to ensure smooth operations. Leading and inspiring a team of Regional Learning Consultants, you’ll foster an environment of growth and excellence in training delivery that empowers our Agency Network. You’ll oversee the planning and resource management for the Regional Learning Consultant team, ensuring we meet customer demands and business needs efficiently.
In addition, you’ll build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, business managers, and professional bodies to enhance our reputation and deliver on our objectives. You’ll also collaborate with business sponsors to design and evaluate innovative learning solutions that align with NFU Mutual’s strategy and vision.
About you
You’re a proven leader with extensive experience in learning and development within a regulated environment, ideally from within a networked business setting. Your proven leadership skills clearly show your ability to drive change and inspire teams. With strong communication and relationship-building abilities you effectively influence stakeholders at all levels, including C-suite executives. A strategic thinker with excellent planning, organisational and project management skills. You collaborate effectively within a wider team, ensuring that collective goals are achieved. Experience within an insurance setting is desirable.
To join our team, it’s essential that you also have:
• A Certificate in Learning and Development (CIPD) or its equivalent.
• Experience in designing, delivering, and managing learning programs.
• A keen ability to manage program budgets to ensure a strong return on investment.
• Strong critical thinking skills to enable you to write and present compelling business cases.
• A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for improvement.
• Coaching and/or mentoring skills – ideally accredited through formal qualification.
