About The Role
Knight Frank is looking to hire a Legal Administrator, on a part time basis, to join our Risk and Operations department, based at our Baker Street HQ.

We are looking to recruit a permanent Legal Administrator to support our Legal team. The Legal team is currently 10 lawyers and one trainee solicitor who all report into the Head of Legal. The role will be responsible for a broad range of legal administrative activities and providing support to the Legal team. The role will be best suited to someone who is highly organised and enthusiastic to be part of a hard-working and friendly team. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start a legal career alongside studying or for someone who has previously held an administrative position and is looking for a more flexible working week.
Responsibilities
- Managing the legal ticketing system. To include but not limited to:
- Reviewing enquiries received from the business and liaising directly with internal stakeholders to request further information / documentation if required;
- Liaising with the legal team assess capacity within the team;
- Allocating work appropriately amongst the legal team according to capacity and skill set;
- Keeping track of deadlines in accordance with service levels;
- Updating internal stakeholders;
- Keeping track of external legal spend across the team and processing all legal invoices.
- Monitoring, responding and directing the queries from the legal team inbox and other required inboxes.
- Assisting with the development of operational processes to support the effective and efficient functioning of the legal team and provide operational support to the legal team as required.
- Assisting with management of relationships with external panel firms, including the drafting of legal instructions, ensuring value for money quotes, service reviews etc.
- Maintaining legal content, updating precedents and guidance notes for the Legal team, and updating intranet and website pages.
- Assisting with preparing regular reports on ticket numbers, external legal budget, service levels, team capacity etc.
- Coordination of diary arrangements, booking meeting rooms and scheduling internal and external meetings.
- Supporting to proofread legal memos and associated documents in a timely manner.
- Coordinating electronic and wet ink signatures on legal documents with senior leadership.
- Supporting the Legal team on projects as required.
Key Experience Required
- Legal administration experience, property administration experience or other similar office experience in a commercial field (preferable).
- Keen desire to grow and learn as part of a team, and willingness to develop knowledge of legal work and the property sector.
- Ability to recognise sensitive issues and maintain strict confidentiality.
- Act with precision, accuracy, integrity and discretion.
- Pleasant, confident on the telephone and efficient in communicating with people at all levels.
- Good ICT skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. Knowledge of Teams also desirable.
