Elixirr (www.elixirr.com) is looking for a 2-to-4-year PQE corporate/commercial lawyer, with excellent law firm training and an entrepreneurial spirit to join Elixirr’s legal team of five senior lawyers in supporting the Elixirr Group’s business internationally.

Elixirr prides itself on doing things differently and has positioned itself as the Challenger Consultancy. It is expanding its business through inorganic and organic growth. Elixirr has completed seven acquisitions since its IPO and has several potential targets in its acquisition pipeline.
You will be primarily responsible for supporting with the reviewing, drafting and negotiating a wide range of international commercial contracts, particularly engagement and services contracts with Elixirr Group clients and suppliers. You will support Elixirr Partners and Principals with the drafting and negotiation of client engagements.
You will also work with the Elixirr Operations team on internal matters such as commercial contracts, employment related contracts, share option arrangements, policies and data protection, and on the post-closing integration of acquired businesses.
You will work with the Elixirr acquisitions team to provide in-house legal advice in respect of acquisitions of new businesses as part of Elixirr’s growth strategy and will work with Elixirr’s acquisitions team and, from time to time, with external lawyers (in the UK and internationally, particularly in the US) and support with the due diligence process for potential acquisitions.
You will be an integral part of the legal team and have five experienced lawyers to offer guidance and support on achieving commercial solutions. The right candidate will have the ambition to develop into a more senior role with specific responsibilities within the Elixirr Group to support Elixirr’s ambitious growth strategy.
The successful candidate will be personable, confident, proactive, commercial, entrepreneurial and unfazed by challenges, and must have strong written and oral communication and drafting skills, excellent attention to detail and be able to exercise sound pragmatic judgement.
The position is based in Elixirr’s London office at 100 Cheapside, London EC2V 6DT between St Pauls and Bank tube stations.
Core Qualifications
- Admitted to practice in England
- At least 2 to 4 years post qualification experience with evidence of a sound foundational training from a reputable law firm
- Sound knowledge and experience of commercial contracts including relevant intellectual property and data protection issues in commercial contracts
- Experience of corporate transactions such as acquisitions of businesses and companies
- Fluency in English, written and spoken
