Education required:
- Must have/be predicted three A levels at CCC or above or equivalent.
- GCSE Mathematics and English (grade A*-C / 9-4) or equivalent.
Language requirement: Written and spoken fluency in English.
Other requirements:
- You must live within a 60-minute commute of the site location on the day you start your apprenticeship as you are expected to be on site daily.
- Worthing is a penicillin manufacturing site. Please consider this if you are allergic to beta-lactam penicillin.
Expected start date: September 2025

Ahead together with tailored training and career development
This is a 4-year practical, hands-on apprenticeship where you’ll be working towards a Level 6
Supply Chain Management qualification through the University of Nottingham.
As the
Supply Chain and Logistics Apprentice you will acquire comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in supply chain management, logistics, and business operations. You'll develop expertise in optimising supply chains, enhancing efficiency, and driving strategic decision-making, preparing them for successful careers in this field.

What will you do?
- Learn and apply best practices in demand planning, scheduling, stock management and logistics including warehousing.
- Collaborate with other teams to ensure the smooth flow of pharmaceutical products from raw material to packed product ensuring we meet customer demands and regulatory requirements.
- Plan and execute operational activities such as production scheduling, packaging, and labeling.
- Utilise data to support decision making and to recommend improvements.
- Participate in projects related to sustainability, cost & waste reduction and other improvement projects.
- Supplier Management, managing supplier relationships, maintaining continuity of supply, ensuring compliance to agreements.

- A competitive starting base salary of £20,800 per year, which increases to £26,400 after 1 year (subject to annual review) plus an annual bonus based on company performance.
