The Liquidity Risk Assurance Manager will be responsible for supporting the development of the operating model, including roles and responsibilities for the overall Treasury Risk Assurance function. The successful candidate will confidently assist with assurance reviews for Liquidity Risk and will successfully provide updates to wider teams and stakeholders on there findings.

In this role you will:

  • Provide subject matter expertise, advice, guidance, and effective challenge to the Risk and Control Owners
  • Challenge Risk and Control Owners on risk and control management, including inherent risk, residual risk, control effectiveness ratings, issues, actions and events.
  • Support in targeted assurance reviews and deep dive of end-to-end processes across high-risk metrics.
  • Work with the business to understand the impact of emerging risks that require changes to controls, resources and business operations to ensure they remain within appetite as well as Internal Audit to understand the outcomes of their reviews and how this affects the control environment.
  • Work closely with wider teams both on and offshore with a particular focus on training team members based in offshore locations.

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

  • Must have experience working within Liquidity risk reporting. This can be through working in First Line of Defence Regulatory Reporting teams or Internal / External Audit. Experience working within
  • Prior experience liaising with senior stakeholders on matters related to Liquidity Risk with proven ability to explain findings in a clear and concise manner.
  • Communication and interpersonal skills, including the capacity to articulate the case for risk management in the language of business.
  • Must have an understanding of internal compliance procedures.

This role is based in London / Hybrid.
